1. Equipment Stands: These are offered in many forms, any food service establishment that cooks using commercial cooking equipment can use refrigerated stands to provide easy access to ingredients. Even small or crowed kitchens that do not have room behind their main cooking line can benefit by having refrigeration below their cooking equipment. Besides the ability to provide refrigeration equipment stands additionally are built sturdy enough to support the weight of a range top, griddle, charbroiler, countertop fryer, combi oven, and other pieces. Because these units offer a multiple function roll they are beneficial to any kitchen.
2. Work Table: Every foodservice operation needs a safe working table they are in every stage and type of food preparation. They are used to help assemble plates and various menu items. They are also used for waiting staff to fold napkins, chop vegetables, make coffee; they have a huge variety of uses and are very versatile. Work tables can even support restaurant equipment. As for the top, there are two common types' stainless steel and wood. Stainless steel is sanitary, easy to clean, and it even meets all the health code requirements. Wood tops are often used in bakeries and in pizza operations. Because wood does not conduct heat like stainless steel, it helps the baker control the temperature of the dough. This benefit helps the baker get the same results every time.
3. Work Center: They are available in an assortment from beverage counters, to pizza work stations, and regular work centers. If space is an issue for you then you may want to consider a work center. Butcher blocks have some advantages over countertops first; you can chop and prep food directly on the surface. Over time, it will show scratches but that is ok because secondly, you can easily refinish the surface by sanding it away or re-oiling the top. As long as it's taken care of butcher blocks can last decades. Another great feature is with a maple butcher block the maple boards inhibit bacteria growth, while plastic boards have been proven to harbor bacteria inside the cut grooves. This leaves you with a more sanitary cutting surface when it comes to preparing food. Lastly, with end grain butcher blocks the wood fibers absorb the impact of the knife, allowing your knife to stay sharper longer.
5. Spreader Tables and Cabinets: These are invaluable pieces of restaurant equipment. These fill the awkward small gapes in a kitchen between equipment or tables. Those small gaps are difficult to keep clean with food falling in between equipment and are a waste of space. You can fill it with a spreader table or cabinet allowing you to have another working surface, prevent food from falling in that space and offer more storage. These are built sturdy enough to hold ranges and other heavy kitchen equipment on top.
