Dough Prep

Making dough correctly and efficiently is the key to any successful baking endeavor. Fortunately, there is an array of useful equipment to help achieve that goal. Specialized dough machines can prepare dough in exactly the way you need when you need it.

A dough sheeter flattens dough using rolling cylinders. This is useful for making pizza or other similarly shaped items. They are often countertop-style units, so they can be moved around easily if necessary and don't take up much space in the kitchen. Sheeters also may be a better alternative to rolling than using one's hands or handheld tools; they are built to handle doughs of varying toughness and consistency.

Dough dividers are machines that separate large pieces of dough. They are beneficial for operations that need to quickly make appropriately and equally sized portions. Each one is equipped with a set of blades that cut through dough. Simply place the divider over the dough you are separating and then press down using the handle to slice through the dough.

Shaping dough by hand is definitely possible, but why not make it easier with a dough moulder? These appliances can mold dough into any shape with just the press of a button. From hot dog buns to rolls and baguettes, these machines guarantee accuracy and neatness. Dough rounders are helpful shaping tools as well; they are capable of producing many pieces of rounded dough in a short time span.

An essential part of making pizza dough is spinning the dough in order to give it its flat, circular shape. The idea is to evenly distribute the dough across the entire pizza and avoid large clumps when baking. With a pizza spinner machine, a user can accomplish this task with little fuss or struggle. The dough is placed onto a platform that is controlled with a lever. When this lever is pulled, the platform rises and presses the dough against the upper part of the machine, which spins and flattens the dough out according to the machine settings.
